As a Somerville Heavy Duty Truck Shop Supervisor, you are the go-to person for truck repair and maintenance, with at least 5 solid years of Supervisory or Management experience working in the Transportation Industry. You are a 310T Journeyman, or possess an Interprovincial Red Seal, have top-notch experience as a Journeyman Truck Mechanic (preferably Hino), and have well-honed management, leadership and organization skills. You are dedicated to keeping our customers on the road.

• Promote both positive and professional relationships with all customers and all company personnel.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and lead a strong culture of safety.
• Oversee repairs to ensure timeliness, quality and accuracy and assist with vehicle repairs.
• Continuously train, mentor and supervise all Shop Service Department employees.
• Develop improved customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; implementing changes.
• Measure, monitor and develop department productivity, efficiency and proficiencies, in order to help others deliver their best. 
• Assist the Service Manager in developing and maintaining a training program for all Service Department staff.
