Luxury car brand Audi continues to impress for the remainder of the 2016 year. Always in line with evolving technologies and intuitive to consumer demands, Audi has introduced several new redesigned models throughout the year including the TT 2+2 sports car and the 2017 Audi Q7 midsize SUV, for drivers looking for more space. This year saw Audi take it up a notch with the F8 supercar debuting as a new 2017 model. While performance, reliability and overall class are still pertinent to all makes and models of the Audi brand, several models have had a lot of exterior performance and design upgrades. Let’s take a look at some of the new or updated features for these top 5 2016 models.

2016 Audi A3/S3

Audi’s A3 Sedan is everything but the typical family sedan vehicle, designed with a sporty feel in mind, yet still a timeless classic of the Audi collections. Dual-clutch transmissions allow you to change speeds instantly without an interruption to power and the 2.0 TFSI quattro produces a hefty 220 HP. New this year to the A3 Sportback model is the e-tron plug-in hybrid with special grille, fascia, and rear bumper. It also features a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with electric motor and 8.8-KW Lithium-ion battery. Safety upgrades were also incorporated, like the rear-view camera with park assist and active-lane assist technologies incorporated.

2016 Audi A4/S4

When it comes to the new Audi A4, most of the most obvious changes are design related. A Bang & Olufsen sound system can now be included on Audi’s Premium Plus technology package, letting you and your passengers listen in style. The whels are also different, with 19-inch 5 V-spoke wheels replacing the 19-in., 5-arm-rotor wheels. For those who want to stand out on the road, a new Misano red pearl paint is now one of the colours available on Audi A4.

2016 Audi A5/S5

The beloved S-Line design still comes standard on the new A5, and similarily to the A4, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and the Misano red pearl paint are now available for this model. Audi Connect has been added to several navigation packages for the A5, providing internet connections and infrastructure for the driver’s comfort. The RS 5 coupe and cabriolet have been discontinued, but a brand new red acoustic convertible option is now available.

2016 Audi A6/S6

Perhaps the model with the most makeover, the redesigned Audi A6 is sure to impress. New front, rear designs that include new LED headlight and taillight treatments, grille and bumpers, and trapezoid exhaust tips are the first thing you’ll notice. Once you’re behind the wheel, the 2.0-liter TFSI engine producing 252 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with 7-speed S-tronic double-clutch transmission for front-wheel drive models or 8-speed Tiptronic on quattro all-wheel-drive versions is sure to get your attention. Two new interior colours are also available, in a unique Flint Grey and Arras Red. 4

2016 Audi A8/S8

Another model with significant updates, the A8 now sports a panoramic sunroof with luxury, sport and performance packages available. The S8 Plus model boasts 4.0-liter V-8, modified to generate 605 horsepower with 517 lb.-ft. of torque. The A8, on the other hand, features a L 4.0T muscular variant introduced with bolder exterior, panoramic roof, and twin-turbo V-8 engine that generates 450 horsepower. Both models are now offered in a Mythos Black Metallic exterior colour. Each model has a new 20-inch wheel design.
