Awesome Automotive Events and Community Events

Summer really is the best time of year. When the sun is shining, there’s nothing better than being outside and enjoying life. That’s why we’re so active in the community, especially during the summer months. Meeting our neighbours, friends, and customers face-to-face and having a quick chat is something we truly enjoy.

Somerville Auto was involved in two big events recently - the Yorkville Exotic Car Show and our own Open House. Both events were bigger and better than we could have expected. Thanks to all who came out!

Yorkville Exotic Car Show

June 18th marked the 7th anniversary of the Yorkville Exotic Car Show and we are proud to have been part of it. What started as a small event a few short years ago, has grown into one of the largest and most anticipated exotic cars shows in all of Canada.

Upwards of 90,000 people attended the show, which had an impressive range of exotic vehicles on display, including the Acura NSX, the Ferrari F40, and the legendary McLaren P1 hypercar. Taking place on Father’s Day weekend, this was a great event for families, with kids and fathers alike smiling and drooling on the impressive cars.

The biggest highlight from the show actually had nothing to do with cars, engines, or tires. The best part of the event is that it raised $60,000 for Prostate Cancer Canada.

Open House

Of course, our own Open House event on June 14th was a smashing success, too. Dozens of our friends, neighbours, and loyal customers were treated to a delicious barbecue lunch and a lot of fun.

We had some of our most impressive exotic and luxury vehicles on display for all to see, and it was easy to tell our guests were impressed with the fine vehicles we have to offer. Those who attended also had opportunities to win prizes, including Blue Jays tickets.

Thanks for all who came out to say hi and show their support for Somerville Auto. We’re dedicated to the community, and it’s great to see our efforts are appreciated.
